“So my amazing daughter, Emma, turned 5 last month, and I had been searching everywhere for new-creative inspiration for her 5yr pictures. I noticed quite a pattern of so many young girls dressing up as beautiful Disney Princesses, no matter where I looked 95% of the “ideas” were the “How to’s” of how to dress your little girl like a Disney Princess…We chose 5 women (five amazing and strong women), as it was her 5th birthday but there are thousands of unbelievable women (and girls) who have beat the odds and fought (and still fight) for their equal rights all over the world”

go to gabifresh.com for more pics and important info about sizing/fit before buying!MORE PICS OF THE SHOOT WITH ME!!! xo
OK THIS IS HAPPENING and I think I’m going to get jewel sheer-sided one piece because although I love those bikinis, me and a tie halter just don’t cooperate. I love that this shoot was inspired by Spring Breakers!
summer babes
ugh
if only these came above a size 24
*barfs everywhere*
Yeah I’m not really impressed with the fact that these are being sold at a site called “Swimsuits for all” when the “All” is really a 24 or below. Some of these only come in a 22. They are also incredibly expensive.
This is a HUGE example of how thin privilege is not a binary. Being a smaller fat makes you forget that fat people go past a size 22/24. Not impressed at all.
I mean, yeah, the suits are cute. But $68? I would never. And I’m lucky/privileged in that I can go to Walmart or Ross and buy a cute suit for $25 - but the larger you go up in size, the less options you have, and the more money you have to pay. So I can go “Pffft, keep scrolling, I’ll find something else” on these suits, because I have options. Lots of people *don’t have those options* , because they are either sized out or priced out, or both! We should all be able to have cute clothing, that appeals to us, in our size - that is NOT asking too much. It’s not.
Also… thought these were fat-posi suits? Reading the description on a random suit from that line:
- Empire waist visually minimizes tummy and hides hips.
- Print breaks up torso and visually slims waist.
NOT FUCKING COOL
uuuuuugggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
(the bolded)
i’ll be honest…i didn’t like that commentary either. though, i would imagine that had to do with the site and not gabi/her vision for the line.
but in all honesty - i just laughed at it and know that my belly can’t be tamed.
i’m surprised my forever21+ suit fit but if i had been annnnny bigger,
it wouldn’t be comfyand i haven’t been able to find a bikini i personally like for less than what this one was, especially with the discount code taking off shipping and some of the suit. my simply be top/love your peaches bottom one that i got last year was about 70 by the time it was all said and done…and i don’t like it NEARRRRRERRR as much as this one. the rue whatever one i loved was almost 100. oy. bathing suits are not cheap.
I totally agree with the description as well. It’s fat shaming, and kind of upsetting because Gabi is a body posi activist.
no literally never go out in public with me I will say “dog” every time I see a dog and I will say “hello” to every dog that I meet and if we’re having a conversation I will stop and point when a dog goes by
